About Bootcamp

The Meta-Analysis Bootcamp is a structured, mentorship-driven program designed to train medical students and healthcare professionals in conducting and publishing high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses (SRMA).

Each cohort is provided with a strategically selected SRMA topic by the mentor to ensure clinical relevance, novelty, and strong publication potential. Participants are also taught the principles of effective topic selection, enabling them to independently develop high-impact research topics in the future.

The program includes 4–5 focused live sessions conducted over one month. After each live session, structured tasks are assigned to ensure progressive implementation and practical skill development. By the end of the month, the complete project is finalized in manuscript-ready form.

About the Founder

The Meta-Analysis Bootcamp was founded in July 2025 by Abdullah Afridi and M. Waqar Shahid, dedicated medical students and emerging researchers with a strong focus on systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Recognizing the lack of structured, practical research mentorship for medical students, they established the Bootcamp to create a results-oriented platform where participants are guided from structured training to manuscript submission and publication.

Since its inception, the initiative has grown into a well-organized academic team that includes assistant mentors, a manuscript expert, a submission expert, and a nationwide network of ambassadors — all working together to ensure quality research output and successful publications.

Our strength lies in a structured, collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality research training and publication support.
